I love vampires and have since the minute I saw "Interview with the Vampire" in a very crowded theater in New Hampshire, back before Brad was Brangelina and Tom jumped on Oprah's couch. It was that long ago. I didn't go to see it because of them, although they did make sexy vampires. I went to see it because the trailers intriqued me beyond all reason. You see, until this movie, I hated vampires. Icky, blood-sucking, freaks of nature. Yuck. But something about this movie got me, and wouldn't let go.
Cons. Cons. Cons. In particular, Carnage Con, which is a gaming convention in Fairlee, VT. I am pretty sure I will be there with my husband this year and I am really looking forward to the weekend. It's a ways off, November 6th-8th to be exact, so I still have two whole months to wait. But I am very excited because I just love going to Cons. And this is why.
I am typing on my new netbook which is very tiny, but also very black and shiny which makes me happy. Shiny is good. Watch Serenity. I am playing with this shiny, new toy and decide to check out Hulu.com. No overpriced cable for me! Only problem is I can't really watch any of my favorite TV shows because Hubby is out tonight being a geek with his buddies and if I watch a show now, I'll end up watching it again with him and that's just plain boring. So, I am browsing through all the other stuff on Hulu and find movie trailers.
Everyone blogs. Okay not everyone. Up until about 30 seconds ago, I didn't blog. Now, I'm blogging. Kinda weird. Poof. Just like that I'm a blogger. Do I get a raise or something? Because I really think this moment should get some kind of real world recognition for the achievement of, um, turning on the computer and typing some stuff. Okay, maybe not. I will be content with toasting myself with another Diet A&W Root Beer.
